Your visit.
Your choices.
A straightforward guide to the browser storage used by this website, and the optional tools you can choose.

What is active now?
Google Analytics 4 runs only after you accept Analytics. Microsoft Clarity runs only after you accept Experience insights. Reject both or choose either separately. Without the relevant opt-in, our integration does not load that provider’s script or send measurement requests to it. Both tools are limited to the public homepage; they do not run on forms, the CRM, administration pages or other routes.
The Cookie settings button is available on public pages. Accepting, rejecting or saving choices stores your preference in this browser. Closing the preferences window without saving keeps your previous choice.
Our browser-storage inventory
First-party storage in this application| Technology | Purpose and location | Lifetime and control |
|---|
nostaff-cookie-preferences Local storage · No Staff | Remembers your analytics and experience choices, the notice version and when the choice was made. Set only when you save, accept or reject. | We honour the choice for 180 days, or until the notice/configuration changes. The browser may retain the stored item until your next visit, when an expired choice is discarded, or until you clear site data. Change it using Cookie settings. |
|---|
nostaff-optional-tools-blocked Session storage · No Staff | A safety fallback that keeps optional tools off if the browser cannot reliably save a changed preference. | Lasts for the tab’s page session, or until preferences can be saved successfully. Browser session restoration can affect this lifetime. |
|---|
portal-auth Session storage · No Staff | Historical entry from the former newsletter administration portal. That portal and its sign-in endpoints are retired. The current website does not set this entry. | An older entry may remain for the browser tab’s page session, including restored sessions, or until you clear site data. No new portal sign-in tokens are issued by this website. |
|---|
_ga, _ga_QF7Y9EBE6V Cookies · Google Analytics | Optional Analytics: recognise a browser and maintain measurement session information. Set only after Analytics consent. | Our tag requests up to 180 days without renewing expiry on each visit. Browser restrictions can shorten this. Withdrawal clears accessible first-party Google measurement cookies. |
|---|
_clck, _clsk Cookies · Microsoft Clarity | Optional Experience insights: persist the Clarity identifier/preferences and connect page views into a session recording. Set only after Experience insights consent. | Lifetime is controlled by Microsoft’s current script and the browser. Withdrawal clears these accessible first-party cookies. See Microsoft’s cookie inventory. |
|---|
_cltk Session storage · Microsoft Clarity | Optional Experience insights: a tab identifier used by the Clarity runtime. | Browser tab’s page session, subject to session restoration. Removed by our integration when an active tracking session is stopped. |
|---|
Cookies and local/session storage are different browser technologies. This declaration covers all three. Browser privacy settings can remove or block site data; this may mean we cannot remember preferences.
Optional tools
OPTIONAL · ANALYTICS CONSENT
Google Analytics 4
Measures public-homepage page views and technical visit information, including browser/device details, identifiers and approximate location derived from the network connection. Our tag keeps advertising consent denied and disables Google Signals and advertising personalisation signals.
Browser-cookie expiry is not Google’s server-data retention. Retention depends on data categories and account settings, and standard aggregated reports are treated differently. Google’s retention information · Google’s privacy information
OPTIONAL · EXPERIENCE INSIGHTS CONSENT
Microsoft Clarity
Provides homepage heatmaps and session replays, including clicks, scrolling, pointer movements and page content permitted by masking. It is not audio or telephone recording. Our integration sends advertising-storage consent as denied; Microsoft acts as a data controller under its own privacy statement.
Microsoft publishes 30 days for ordinary playback and 9 months for labelled/favourited sessions and heatmap/click data. It states that individual-user deletion requires deleting the project. Clarity retention · Privacy questions · Microsoft’s privacy information
Microsoft also documents provider-domain cookies named CLID, ANONCHK, MR, MUID and SM. Whether they are used depends on the provider’s behavior, consent and browser restrictions. Our website cannot inspect or directly remove cookies on another domain. See Microsoft’s linked cookie inventory and your browser’s site-data controls.
Changing your mind
Open Cookie settings and reject optional tools or switch individual choices off. Necessary preference storage remains so we can remember that choice. If optional scripts have already loaded, applying a withdrawal stops them and reloads the page to prevent them continuing in the current document. If your browser blocks saving or clearing preferences, we keep tools stopped and show instructions to clear this site’s browser data.
Withdrawal stops new collection through our integration. An in-flight request or final buffer collected while consent was valid may finish sending during shutdown. Withdrawing permission cannot recall information already transmitted or delete data already held by a provider. We can clear accessible first-party measurement cookies, but cannot directly delete cookies held on another provider’s domain. Your browser’s site-data controls can help manage those.
Cookies are only one part of privacy
The former website’s public content, newsletter delivery and administration tools are retired. Legacy enquiry intake, document upload, AI chat and new newsletter subscriptions remain disabled. Existing unsubscribe links remain available. Contact by email remains available. Sending information by email involves data processing even without a website cookie; these preferences do not authorise separate activities or marketing communications.
This inventory describes application-controlled storage. Website hosting may also process technical request information for delivery and security. We are reviewing those provider settings; this page does not claim that no other cookies or technical logs can exist.
